A mother of two managed to avoid getting too big seventh She claims she lost years by changing her way of thinking.

Rachel Williams, 41, fought against it Weight From the age of eight, I began to believe that there was no way to change it.

But with Rachel approaching her 40th birthday, she still hated her the shape So much so that she doesn’t want to be photographed with her two young children.

Knowing that something had to change, Rachel realized she had to tackle the way she talked to herself and use overthinking to create a healthy lifestyle, Manchester Evening News reports.

Incredibly, it was this instead of tracking calories that finally helped Rachel beat obesity.

Since July 2019, Rachel has lost seven stones – dropping from 16 5lbs to 9lbs 5lbs and for the first time in her life she has also kept the weight off.

She now credits her with becoming conscious and “counting chemicals, not calories” thanks to her slim figure.

Rachel knows exactly how it feels to have tried everything to deal with her weight – and so now she is determined to try to help others. Since I’ve lost weight, I’ve trained to become a health and lifestyle coach to be able to encourage others.

Rachel, 41, lives in Henbury Cheshire With husband Anton and their two children Sophia, 8 and Solomon, 2 years old.

“I’ve started gaining weight since I was 8, I can remember my mother taking me to Weight Watchers when I was 12 or 13. In hindsight, thinking about my journey now, I can see that I was a secret eater,” says Rachel. I eat sweets, chips, chocolate, all the comfort foods.

“Later in my life I went through a phase of bloating and then stopped eating – that was when I was in college. I lost weight but not in a healthy way. Since then I’ve tried every diet out there I think – from WW, Slimming World, diet Dukan Diet Maple Syrup Diet Cabbage Soup Diet Atkins 2:5 I Tried Everything.

“The thing I’ve had the most success with is Slimming World, and that’s the thing I come back to and feel comfortable with. But then you’ll get the goal, go off the plan, and I’ll pack the weight back in and then some.”

As Rachel began approaching her 40th birthday, she was horrified after seeing a picture of her on vacation with infant Solomon. “You were my biggest,” Rachel says.

“I’m there smiling, but inside I’m not smiling, I’m just freaking out. That particular summer I didn’t want my picture taken.”

“I thought ‘Oh my God, I don’t want my picture taken, and yet my daughter Sophia was saying ‘Come on mom.’ about that “.

Despite her strict personal training schedule, which includes long workouts and nutrition plans – Rachel was horrified to see she was still not losing weight.

Frustrated, I paid to see a naturalist to see what was going on.

She was told she had parasites in her intestines and to stop eating all forms of sugar. Give up sweet food where you can. She freaked out, even finding that doing so didn’t make the weight come off.

That’s when Rachel started reading personal development books and about biohacking, the concept of changing the environment to give you back control of your biology.

“After addressing my brain, and focusing on what I was actually eating, and how my body was responding to calories, all of a sudden the weight started dropping. I was like, ‘What?'”

“I started focusing on what I could eat instead of what I couldn’t, and the weight started dropping. I kept going to the gym three times a week, drinking water, and really focusing on the quality of the food I started eating – I eliminated all diet foods And all processed foods.

“I started looking in the mirror and seeing Rachel.”

By June 2020, Rachel’s value had dropped from 17 stones, 5 pounds, to 10 pounds, 5 pounds per year. By December 2020, it was down to 9stone 5lbs and hasn’t brought the pound back since.

“I feel more alert now, have a lot of energy, and am able to keep up with my kids. I run all over the park and don’t think twice about it and my skin seems to glow a lot more.”

She no longer counts calories but counts chemicals instead – she ditched all processed foods from her daily diet.

“For example, I know if I eat sweet potatoes I’m bloated, but I’ve never had them before,” Rachel says. “I didn’t have that awareness before to listen to my body, so now I only eat white potatoes.”

“Now I look at the labels, I’m counting chemicals, not calories. I’m very aware of what I’m putting in my body. Do I love pizza? Yes. So if I feel like pizza, I eat sourdough pizza with the best quality toppings.”

“I eat freshly baked sourdough bread, and I don’t have anything low-fat anymore because it’s full of chemicals.

“Similarly with a burger, if I wanted a burger, I would have a burger but it would be a quality meat burger. I don’t use oils because they wreak havoc on your gut.
