Miami, May 13 (UPI) – This weekend’s slate of sports fills the second and first round finishes of the NBA and NHL, the PGA Tour’s warm-up tournament and scores from MLB and domestic football league games.

NASCAR races at Kansas Speedway, UFC matches and live boxing fights Friday through Sunday.

But the frozen floor and hardwood will be the main platforms for elite athletes. Eight NBA playoffs are still outside the original 16-team field. This field could be reduced to four teams after this weekend.

We ensure that each of the top seven conference semi-final series reaches at least six matches to determine who will meet in the Western Conference and Eastern Conference Finals next week.

NBA playoffs

2 Game 6s Friday tip to kick off the weekend’s NBA game schedule. The Milwaukee Bucks host the Boston Celtics in their first game at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The Bucks, who are leading 3-2 in their best of seven series, are looking to reach the Eastern Conference Finals and defend their title in 2021.

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies in Game Two of the weekend. The Western Conference semi-final game kicks off at 10 p.m. at the Chase Center in San Francisco. The Warriors owns a 3-2 series.

No NBA games will be played on Saturday, but Sunday’s roster could feature a trio of 7s. Those games could include the Bucks, Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.

Stanley Cup Playoffs

The 16-team NHL Stanley Cup playoff field will also be reduced to eight teams after this weekend. Three 6 games will be played on Friday night.

The Pittsburgh Penguins face the New York Rangers at 7 PM ET on TNT. The Penguins have a 3-2 lead in the first round series.

The Washington Capitals host the Florida Panthers for their next game at 7:30 p.m. on TBS. The Panthers lead that 3-2 series.

The Dallas Stars then host the Calgary Flames at 9:30 p.m. Friday on TNT. Calgary needs another victory to win that series, while the Superstars will try to avoid elimination.

Saturday’s Stanley Cup playoff schedule can include up to four games 7. Up to three additional games from Sunday’s Game 7 can be broadcast.

NASCAR in Kansas

The 2022 NASCAR season circuit features two races this week at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kans.

Drivers of the Truck Series will race past the green flag first in the Heart of America 200. This 134-lap event will begin at 8pm EST on Saturday and broadcast on FS1.

The drivers will start their engines for the main event at 3pm on Sunday with the AdventHealth 400 Cup Series. Cup Series leader Kyle Larson and Series leader Chase Elliott were the favorites for the 267-lap race.

Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, and Ross Chastain are among the top 5 predicted contenders. Elliott leads the field nine places out of the top 10 this season. Byron and Chastain are the only drivers with multiple (2) wins during the first ten races of the season.

Bush is the defending champion and holds two all-around titles in this event.
