Celebrity-loved fitness brand Peloton has launched a new product in Australia that promises to enhance your strength training from the comfort of your own home.
Peloton Guide Available now with prices starting at $445 if you already have a membership, or an additional $35 per month for 2022 if you’re a fitness beginner.
The company, best known for its sportbikes, uses the guide to step into the strength space, with new videos to watch and moves to perform that will revitalize your body in a matter of weeks.
It’s a webcam-like device that connects to your TV with an HDMI cable, allowing you to set up the mat, weights in front of it, and start your workout at any time.

“First to achieve a comprehensive fitness routine, you must train your entire body and not overwork one muscle group,” said Ben Aldis, Peloton trainer.
The Body Activity feature learns which body parts you have already trained that week and will recommend supplemental classes to ensure you get a good and constructive workout.

Self-mode is one of my favorite features in the Peloton Guide. It can be very intimidating to try new moves, especially as a beginner. With the Self mode, you will be able to see yourself next to the trainer and check your form.
In June 2021, Peloton delighted fans by introducing the world-famous home fitness subscription program to Australia.
The workout platform, which boasts celebrity fans including Beyoncé and is known for bringing the energy of group fitness classes into your living room, rolled out July 14 along with the popular bikes and app.

Peloton was finally launched in Australia on July 14

Bikes have become a global hit thanks to high-definition interactive touchscreens that provide access to more than 15,000 fitness classes, whether they are live or pre-recorded playlists, a curated playlist and more than five million like-minded community members.

But celebrity-certified gear comes at a Hollywood price, with the Peloton Bike costing $2,295 and the Bike+ $3,695.
The price includes delivery but costs an additional $59 per month to subscribe to unlimited live and on-demand classes.
With the average member participating in 26 classes per month, it’s much less expensive than the average gym membership and much more convenient.

Beyoncé has been a member of Peloton for several years and has described it as a company that helps people be “the best version of themselves.”
Peloton was founded in New York City in 2012, when CEO John Foley struggled to fit studio gym classes into his busy schedule with two kids at home.
He set out to bring home the benefits of studio style classes so people can access motivation, music, strength, and intensity anytime, anywhere.
With live and on-demand classes taught by a roster of elite coaches, the brand’s immersive content will be available to Australians by cycling in conjunction with the Peloton app.
With instant access to classrooms, performance tracking metrics, and a motivating leaderboard in real time, Aussies will be able to enjoy a workout as well as an inclusive and socially connected experience in their own homes.
